Homestanding Houghton College defeated Rochester, 3-0, in field hockey on Tuesday afternoon.

The Highlanders held a 13-6 advantage in shots and a 15-5 margin in penalty corners.

Houghton scored midway through the first half, then made it 2-0 1:34 before halftime. The Highlanders completed the scoring with 10:32 left in the match.

Pam Sheffield made 10 saves in goal.

Rochester finished the season at 8-10. Houghton improved to 14-2.
