The women's soccer team finished as the runnerup in the ECAC Northeast Regional Championships after a 4-1 loss to William Smith in the title game.
William Smith scored in the seventh minute, then tacked on three in the second half to win the crown. Rochester won two games on the road by 4-0 counts - over Elmira in the first round on Wednesday and over top-seeded Nazareth on Saturday - to reach the championship game.
The Yellowjackets broke ontly the scoreboard with 86:29 elapsed when Sarah Crimmins redirected a crossing pass from Sarah Tarka.
Sarah Malecki made three saves in the first 45 minutes. Adrianne Hulchanski made one save in the second half.
The Yellowjackets finished 11-8-2.
