SCHENECTADY, NY (Sept. 20) - Homestanding Union College scored a pair of early goals and went on to a 2-0 victory over the Yellowjackets in women's soccer here this afternoon.
The Dutchwomen, ranked #12 in the latest Division III poll, scored in the 13th minute and the 18th minute to build a 2-0 lead.
Rochester goalkeeper Sarah Malecki made eight saves in the full 90 minutes. Union counterpart Julie Gawronski stopped all six Rochester shots.
The Yellowjackets are 4-3-1 overall.
