Men Knot CMU 1-1 in Double OT



The men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie in double overtime against Carnegie Mellon University on Friday.

Rochester trailed 1-0 at halftime (James Steidel scored for the Tartans) but Ben Cross notched the equalizer in the second half.

Jack Burgasser made four saves and the Yellowjackets cleared two balls off the line. CMU's Dave Thomas made five saves.

Rochester is 1-0-2 in the UAA, 9-2-2 overall. CMU, which has won four straight UAA titles, is 0-0-3 in the Association, 5-1-3 overall.
