The field hockey team lost its regular season finale, 6-3, to SUNY Oneonta on Saturday afternoon.
Rochester fought back from a 3-0 deficit after 22 minutes to force a 3-all tie. Oneonta scored three times in the final 23 minutes to grab the victory.
Kristy Johnson scored twice in a span of five minutes to highlight Rochester's rally. Heidi Davies converted a penalty corner from Erin Charnow at 22:57 to put Rochester on the scorebaord. Johnson netted her first goal - assisted by Sally Jensen - off a crossing pass at 41:29. She evened the game at 3-3 when she scored off a rebound of Celinda Fletcher's shot at 46:41.
Rachel Cahan played the first 21:37 in goal. She allowed three goals and made two saves. She was replaced by Robin Levy for the final 48:23.
The Yellowjackets finished the regular season with a 10-9 record.
