Homestanding Union College defeated the women's soccer team, 3-1, on Saturday afternoon in the ECAC Upstate NY Championships.
Rochester finishes the season at 11-6-3 overall.
Union broke through, scoring on a rebound after Molly Leitch saved a shot by Brianne Sosa. Caitlin Cuozzo stuck in the rebound at 47;24.
Rochester answered two minutes later. Emily Urbanczyk latched on to a loose ball and drove her ninth goal of the season into the net, tying the score at 1-1, at the 49:25 mark.
Union broke the tie on a 40-yard shot from Molly Flanagan at 64:31 and added an insurance tally when Marissa VanWoeart headed home a corner kick from Brittany Cressman at 74:28.
Earlier in the season, Rochester held Union to a 0-0 tie through two OTs.
Adrianne Hulchanski made four saves in a scoreless first half. Leitch absorbed the loss. She made five saves.
