The men's soccer team lost its first of the year on Tuesday night, 2-1, at Roberts Wesleyan College.
Roberts Wesleyan, ranked number 11 in the current NAIA poll, scored two first half goals. The Raiders connected in teh 15th and 30th minutes.
Brian Tuohy tried to even the score at 1-1 midway through the first half. His low drive squirted under Roberts keeper Kurtis Dawley but RWC fullback Phil Schmitt cleared it off the line.
Sustained offensive pressure in the second half could not produce the tying goal.
Burgasser made three saves in goal for Rochester. Dawley made six saves and his teammates cleared two balls off the line. The Yellowjackets held a 11-5 advantage in shots.
The Yellowjackets are 7-1-0. Roberts Wesleyan is 8-0-1.
