The Yellowjackets posted their 10th shutout of the season, but couldn't crack through at the other end and settled for a 0-0 double overtime tie with Nazareth.
Rochester outshot the Golden Flyers, 23-10, 12-0 in shots on goal. Nazareth goalkeeper Shannon Burns made a career high 12 saves. Rochester's Molly Leitch did not have to make a save. The shutout was her sixth of the season.
In the first 45 minutes, Rochester otushot Nazareth 9-1. The Yellowjackets came closest to scoring in the 26th minute when Amy Thompson lined a shot off the crossbar. The rebound came to Eileen Boylan whose header was saved by Burns.
With 10 minutes left in regulation, Tammy Brewster broke through the defense. Her shot under pressure from a fullback was saved by the Nazareth goalkeeper.
The Golden Flyers nearly broke through in overtime but Rachel Cushman hit one shot over the crossbar and drove another one wide right.
The Yellowjackets are 9-1-3 overall. Nazareth is 6-4-3.
