First Half Fuels Victory For Men's Soccer Over RIT



HENRIETTA, NY - The men's soccer team opened quickly and closed fast in posting a 5-0 victory at RIT. Tyler Green scored twice, Nick Mikolenko had a goal and an assist, and Dominic Pellingra's corner kicks set up two goals.

Jeremy Mann started the scoring with just over a minute elapsed. He collected an RIT pass and put it in front for Neil Osuch to score his first of the year.

Green notched his seventh of the season at 15:42, knocking home a Mikolenko feed. He got number eight on the season at 27:25 with Bobby Milenovici assisting.

Pellingra's corner kick found Mikolenko for a header and a 4-0 lead at 38;15. With 11 minutes to play, he put another corner in front and Greg Colavecchia headed it home for a 5-0 lead.

Paco Corbalan played the first 65:40 in goal. He made three saves. Michael Peacock saw his first action of the year and was goalless over 19:07. Brandon Campbell completed the shutout, going the last 5:13 in goal. The Yellowjackets are 5-3-1. RIT is 3-6-1.
