MONTCLAIR, NJ - Emily Miller and Gabi Henn combined on both scores as second-seeded Johns Hopkins defeated Rochester, 2-0, in the semifinals of the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Field Hockey playoffs. The Blue Jays improved to 15-7 on the year while Rochester finished at 13-7.

Miller snapped a scoreless tie nine seconds from halftime as she tallied her 18th of the season off a Henn assist. She then added an insurance goal with 6:32 to play on back-handed flip from a difficult angle that went over the head of Rochester goalkeeper Rachel Cahan.

Dayna Eng made seven saves for the Blue Jays, including two while lying on the ground in the first half to keep the contest scoreless. Rochester's Alicia Citro got off at shot at 24:07 that hit the far post and bounced out in front. Kari Plewniak then got two stabs at the rebound however, Eng was able to stop both shots.

Cahan kept the Yellowjackets in the game herself with four first-half saves until Miller put Johns Hopkins in front. Cahan also finished with seven saves as both teams each had 13 shots in the game. Rochester held the advantage in penalty corners, 8-5.
