The women's soccer team scored three times in the second half and went on to a 3-0 victory over Case Western Reserve at Edwin Fauver Stadium.
Laura Bojko scored one goal and set up another - both in the span of less than two minutes - as the Yellowjackets pulled away from a slim 1-0 lead. Emily Urbanczyk and Stephanie Klenotich scored the other goals.
Rochester improved to 14-1-3 overall, 5-1-1 in the University Athletic Association. The Yellowjackets are ranked seventh in the latest NSCAA Division III poll. Rochester finished second in the UAA behind unbeaten (7-0-0 Washington). The Bears compiled 21 points. Rochester has 16 with this victory.
Case is 5-12-1 overall, 1-5-1 in UAA play.
Urbanczyk broke up a 0-0 tie just 1:40 into the second half. Laura Morrison played a 24-yard free kick to the back corner and Urbanczyk touched it home for her sixth goal of the season. All six scores have been gamewinning goals.
Bojko scored directly off a corner kick at 75:43 for a 2-0 lead. At 77:40, she played a corner kick to the back post and Klenotich knocked it home.
Rochester outshot the Spartans, 23-4, 12-0 in shots on goal. The Yellowjackets had nine corner kicks and Case had two.
Kirsten McClain made nine saves for Case. Molly Leitch did not have to make any saves for Rochester.
