SALEM, Va. - The women's soccer team joined host Roanoke College as co-champions of the Roanoke College Invitational Soccer Tournament after a 0-0 tie.
Rochester held a 15-4 advantage in shots and took eight corner kicks to none for the hosts, but couldn't get the gamewinner.
Molly Leitch made two saves in goal for the Yellowjackets to post her second shutout this year. Leitch and the Yellowjackets defeated Catholic University, 1-0, in the semifinals on Saturday.
Four Rochester players were named to the All-Tournament Team: Ashley Weagraff, Kelsey Turley, Ashley VanVechten, and Amy Thompson. Weagraff scored the gamewinning goal in Saturday's win.
Rochester is 1-0-1 and host William Smith on Thursday at 5 pm in Edwin Fauver Stadium.
