Seven players scored a goal apiece as the field hockey team defeated SUNY Oswego, 7-0, at Edwin Fauver Stadium.
Erica Gelb figured in three of the goals. She scored one and set up two others. Lara Bucarey and Kari Plewniak each had a goal and an assist. Christi Bottcher, who scored both goals in Tuesday's win over Geneseo, had two assists vs. the Lakers.
Amanda Case, Alicia Citro, Tara Gelb, and Valerie Lazickas scored single goals for Rochester.
Goaltending chores were split among Rochester's threesome. Rachel Cahan played the full first half and was not required to make a save in the first 35 minutes. Robin Levy played the first 25:10 of the second half. She made one save. Danielle Pearson played the final 9:50 without needing to make a save.
Case put Rochester ahead at 9:55. Bottcher played the ball in from the sideline to Bucarey who sent a pass along the endline. Case steered it home. At 15:45, Erica Gelb went to Bottcher whose shot was tipped home by Tara Gelb.
Citro scored on a goalmouth flurry at 24:39. Plewniak netted her second goal of the season at 28:36, driving home a penalty corner from Erica Gelb.
Rochester scored three times in the final 10 minutes. Erica Gelb made it 5-0 when she scored after a combination of shots following her penalty corner at 60:39.
Bucarey made a solo 20-yard run which she finished by wristing a shot from eight yards inside the near post at 69:10. With 23 seconds left, Plewniak's pass upfield sent Lazickas in and she managed to stuff it beyond the reach of Scharfe.
Rochester is 7-5. Oswego is 2-12.
