Union Beats UR 4-1



Just a day after falling to 15th-ranked Skidmore, the Yellowjacket field hockey team was upended by Union College, 4-1.

The Dutchwomen unleashed 22 shots, 15 on goal. Rochester goaltender Rachel Cahan made 10 saves, eight in the second half. Alicia Citro had a defensive save.

The Rochester goal was scored by Lara Bucarey. Union's Kelsey Dowers scored twice. Caroline Tule and Tyler Willey had single goals. Allie Ryan and Erin Laframbiase had one assist.

Union goaltender Liz Stanford made three saves.
