UNION, N.J. - J.J. Dennstedt set up the first goal and scored the second as Rochester defeated Kean College, 3-0, in men's soccer on Sunday afternoon.

Clif White and Kevin McDonald had the other Rochester goals. The Yellowjackets earned their 10th win of the season and stand at 10-2-2 overall. Kean, which has lost seven times to nationally-ranked opponents, is 6-12-1. Rochester is ranked No. 17 in the current Division III poll.

Michael Peacock (three saves in the first 45 minutes) and Brandon Campbell (one save in the second 45 minutes) split the shutout in goal. It is their third combined shutout this year.

The win was the fifth in the last six games for Rochester and the fourth shutout in that span.

White opened the scoring at 29:55, turning home a pass from Dennstedt for his second goal of the year and first gamewinner. Dennstedt made it 2-0 at 55:34 when he scored an unassisted goal. It was his eighth tally of the season.

McDonald completed the scoring at 84:20 with Steve Gillmer and Chris Blivin picking up the assists. It is the first goal of 2008 for McDonald.

Kean's Alfredo Oquendo made three saves and allowed two goals in the first 57:54. He was replaced by Kyle Kemp who had three saves and one goal allowed in 32:06.
