GENEVA, N.Y. - Fifth-ranked William Smith College scored on a rebound with 2:26 left in the second sudden-death overtime period to nip Rochester, 1-0, in women's soccer.
Freshman Renee Jensen scored on a rebound at 107:34 to give the home team the win. Rochester goalkeeper Celeste Hornbach made 10 saves, including a stop of a blast by William Smith's Chelsea England in the closing sequence. The ball came to Jensen and she scored the winner.
Hornbach made 10 saves. Amanda Davis of William Smith had four stops. The Yellowjackets are 3-1-2 and play at Union College on Sunday. William Smith is 4-2-0.
