HENRIETTA, N.Y. - Rochester's bats erupted early and often as the Yellowjackets defeated Rochester Institute of Technology, 14-4, on Tuesday afternoon.
Ned Chanatry pitched the first five innings to get the win. Phil DiLorenzo pitched the final four innings for a save. Rochester is 19-4. It was the ninth win in the last 10 games.
Matt Francis had four RBIs. Steve Just drove in three runs. Nate Stein and Dominic Caruso had two RBIs each.
Stein and Francis had RBI singles in a two-run first. The Yellowjackets sent 11 men to the plate in the second, scoring five runs. Rochester took advantage of three hits, three walks, and three hit batsmen.
