WASHINGTON, PA - For the second time this season, Rochester was edged in overtime in a field hockey match, this time by host Washington & Jefferson College.
W&J's Julianne Zackey scored both goals for her team, the winner coming 4:33 into overtime. Zackey opened the scoring at 8:33 by converting a penalty stroke.
Rochester equalized at 29:16 on a tap-in by Anisha Gundewar from the side of the net. She was assisted by Allison Beardsley. Zackey's gamewinner was a two-on-one break that she tipped home off a pass from Kim Marcius.
Madison Wagner made a season's high nine saves for Rochester. Roslynn Reynoso made nine saves for the Presidents. Rochester is 2-2. W&J is 2-1.
