Rochester finished sixth at the University Athletic Association women's volleyball championships after a three-set loss to Carnegie Mellon on Saturday morning.

It was the third meeting of the season between the teams. CMU defeated Rochester at the Elizabethtown Tournament and then posted another win in the UAA Round Robin.

The Yellowjackets finished the year at 16-17. Carnegie, hopeful of gaining an NCAA playoff bid, is 27-7. CMU entered the UAA Championships ranked number 25 in the current AVCA poll.

CMU won, 25-19, 25-12, 25-21. The Tartans hit .330 for the match. Rochester hit .121.

Jennie Ford led Rochester with nine kills. She added seven digs. Emma Gira had six kills and one solo block. Alexandra Goldman and Shira Katz had four kills each.

Aimee Kohler registered 27 assists, two service aces, and eight digs. Courtney Vidovich had nine digs, and Meghan Connor had eight digs.
