BROCKPORT, NY – The College at Brockport hit the ball well on Wednesday evening on its home court, sweeping the University of Rochester volleyball team by a 3-0 score.
Â
The Golden Eagles (9-1) would win 25-10 in the opening set and use that momentum to win the final two sets 25-17 and 25-18. The loss drops Rochester's record to 6-3 on the year.
Â
UR was led by senior
Alexandra Goldman who had eight kills. Goldman and freshman Beth Gyzel (3 kills) were the only two Yellowjackets to hit positive on Wednesday while the Golden Eagles combined to hit .250 as a team, smacking 39 kills to just 10 errors.
Â
Three Rochester players added 10+ digs, with
