The University of Rochester posted a 3-0 victory over D'Youville to celebrate senior night on the River Campus, in their final home dual match of the season.

Rochester improves to 13-10 on the season while the visiting Spartans fall to 10-14. The match celebrated UR's lone senior,
Alexandra Nelligan, prior to the match, honoring her dedication and commitment to the UR volleyball program over the last four years. Unfortunately for the senior, she was unable to play due to an injury.

The Yellowjackets hit well on the night, to a clip of .223 over the three sets, including smashing .375 in the opening set which was 25-15 in UR's favor. D'Youville hung with Rochester in the second, but dropped the set 25-20, and the Yellowjackets then finished off the Spartans with a 25-13 win in the third.

UR's leader on the night was sophomore
Beth Ghyzel who had nine kills, 10 digs and 15 assists.Â
Clara Martinez smacked seven kills and had five blocks, while
Kate Korslund and
Alara Kocak had six kills each.

Courtney Vidovich registered 12 digs and three aces, while
Renae Lapins dished out 13 assists and added five digs for the Yellowjackets.

D'Youville was led by Megan Schneider who had 13 kills and 10 digs. Alexandra Bubar got to 18 digs while McKenna Cartonia added 11 assists and six digs.

Rochester is back in action on Sunday when they travel to Keuka for a tri-match with the host Wolves and SUNY Canton, with matches taking place at 11 am and 1 pm.
