Three members from the University of Rochester were named Athletes of the Week from the University Athletic Association for their performances during the last week of play.

Football kicker Dawson Klinger and defensive back Robert Grant were the UAA Football Special Teams and Defensive Player of the Week respectively while women's soccer goalkeeper Emma Schechter was selected as the conference's Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Klinger became the first Rochester placekicker to make two field goals in a game in three years when he hit two in a 20-14 victory over Alfred State on Saturday. He connected from 33 yards and 24 yards plus was 2-2 on PATs. UR's last kicker with two field goals in a game was Andrew Haber in 2015 vs. Union. Rochester's win snapped a seven-game losing streak dating back to September 30, 2017.

Grant's four interceptions, one in each quarter, are the second highest total in a single game in school history.  The single-game school record is five, set in 1976. He had two picks at midfield, one at the 5-yard-line and another in the end zone. Two of the INTs set up field goals. As a team, Rochester had six INTs which ties the team record of six set in 1976. The Yellowjackets gave head coach Chad Martinovich his first Rochester victory.

Schechter faced a season-high 21 shots and made a season-high eight saves in Rochester's 2-1 victory over #2 William Smith on Saturday.  Four of the saves came in the final 30 minutes as UR was nursing the 2-1 lead.  She helped the Yellowjackets to their first win over William Smith in eight years and the first win on the road against the Herons since 1991.
