TROY, NY – University of Rochester field hockey first-year
Anya Arseneau was named the Liberty League Field Hockey Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday.
Arseneau scored two goals in Tuesday's 4-1 victory over SUNY Brockport, including the game-winner. The Fairfax Station, VA native finished the game with three shots in her first career multi-goal effort.
For the week, Arseneau tallied two goals on four shots, adding one shot in Rochester's 3-1 win against St. Lawrence on Saturday.
Arseneau has started every game for the Yellowjackets this season, tallying five goals and one assist on 19 shots.
The first-year earns her second Liberty League honor of the year, after taking home Offensive Performer of the Week honors on Sept. 26.
The Yellowjackets next head of Poughkeepsie, NY for a Liberty League contest against Vassar College on Friday, Oct. 14 at 4 p.m.
