PRINCE ATHLETIC COMPLEX – On a sunny and picture perfect senior day, several University of Rochester baseball seniors had standout games in a 12-3 victory over the Rochester Institute of Technology on Sunday afternoon to close out the regular season.
The victory closes out the weekend series, with Rochester winning two of the three games. UR ends the regular season with a 27-9 overall record and league-best 14-3 mark in conference games. RIT drops to 17-17 overall and is 7-10 in Liberty League contests.

RIT got on the board in the sixth when Chris Reilly homered to left, hitting a 2-run shot for the second game in a row for the Tigers.
UR got those runs right back in the bottom of the inning though, as Matzat hit a solo home run to left center and
Alec Ellison added an RBI single to left.
In relief of Van Allen, grad student
Jake Larson tossed three solid innings on the mound. He allowed three hits and one run while striking out a season-high four batters.
During the ninth, RIT scraped a run across against
Matthew Grier, getting an RBI single from Patrick Blackall to reach the final score of 12-3.
