PRINCE ATHLETIC COMPLEX – Led by nine goals and 10 total points from
Alyssa Gorny, the University of Rochester women's lacrosse picked up its second conference win of the year, defeating the Bard College Raptors, 22-7, on Friday at Edwin Fauver Stadium.
Despite two early goals from the Raptors, putting Bard up by a score, 1-0, and a little over two minutes later, 2-1, the Yellowjackets tied things up on
Alyssa Gorny's first of nine goals on the afternoon, and then again on

The Yellowjackets then proceeded to get on a roll, scoring five unanswered to open a 6-2 lead, and adding another before the visitors got back on the scoreboard. Back-to-back scores from
Anna Rogers turned a 2-2 game into a 4-2 UR advantage just shy of the six-minute mark of the first. Gorny added two more goals, both unassisted, as the 'Jackets extended their lead to 7-2, before a late, player-up goal from Emerson Embrey sent the two sides into the quarter break with UR leading, 7-3.

Kaitlyn Wilkowski, while
Lorelei King,
Tessa Little and
Jennifer Bekos all found the back of the net before the halftime buzzer sounded.
UR would slow its pace a bit in the second half, outscoring Bard just 4-3 in the quarter, and 2-1 in the second half, eventually coming away with a 22-7 victory.
Bekos, Gorny and
Allison Weiden accounted for Rochester's four scores in the third, while Gorny and
