After an impressive showing against Buffalo State on Saturday, Cole Raux of the University of Rochester football team was awarded the Football Offensive Performer of the Week by the Liberty League.

Raux established himself a new career-high, rushing for 234 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-18 win over Buffalo state. The junior running back was a key player in UR's comeback win over the Bengals, scoring both of his TD's in the second half after the Yellowjackets trailed 12-2 at halftime. Raux's rushing total is the 6th-most in the history of Yellowjacket football.

This is Raux's 2nd liberty league weekly honor of the season.

The Yellowjackets are back in action Saturday, October 10th at 1 pm, where they will travel to take on Ithaca College.
