No. 21 University of Rochester men's squash wrapped up the regular season with a 9-0 loss against the 10th-ranked Cornell University Big Red on Wednesday evening at the Lyman Squash Center.

Four Yellowjackets each took a set against their Big Red opponent, despite Cornell shutting out URochester in the contest. Jeh Pandole got the 10th-ranked Big Red started with an 11-3, 11-6, 11-5 win at the No. 8 spot over
Preston Wu, while Aly Ezzat swept
Thomas Valderrama at No. 3, 12-10, 11-5, 11-9.

Arjith Mathew took a set from Edward Thng at the No. 5 spot on the ladder, but Thng would take the match, 11-6, 11-6, 6-11, 11-7, to put Cornell up 3-0 after the first round of matches.

Vivaan Shah quickly made it 4-0 Big Red with an 11-1, 11-2, 11-1 win over
Sam Knoll at the No. 9 spot, while Arnav Tevatia clinched the win for Cornell with an 11-9, 11-7, 11-4 victory over
Kareem Azzam at No. 4.

Dhirren Rajarathinam took a set from Youssef Sarhan at No. 2 but fell, 9-11, 9-11, 11-8, 3-11, to wrap up the second round of play with Cornell up 6-0.

The Big Red would then finish off the shutout with wins at the No. 7, 6 and 1 spots.
Van Inman-Benavente and
Karim Moataz each took sets from their Big Red opponents, but Daniel King topped Inman-Benavente, 15-13, 13-11, 6-11, 11-9 at No. 7, while Roman Bicknell won over Moataz at No. 6, 12-14, 11-1, 11-0, 11-2.

Gilberto Aceves Moreno, 11-5, 11-3, 13-11.
