University of Rochester men's basketball senior guard Corvin Oprea was named to the 2025-26 D3hoops.com All-Region 3 Third-Team, as announced by D3hoops.com on Monday.

A 2025-26 Second-Team All-University Athletic Association (UAA) selection and a United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) All-Rochester Area First-Team honoree, Oprea appeared in and started all 25 games for the Yellowjackets this season, averaging a team-high 17.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game to go along with 1.8 assists and 1.0 steals per contest.

The Dallas, TX native shot 43.8 percent from the floor, 36.6 percent from beyond the arc and 81.7 percent from the free-throw line, and totaled 446 points, 154 rebounds, 45 assists, 24 steals and four blocks.

Within Region 3, Oprea ranked ninth in points per game and three-point percentage, 10th in total three-point field goals made and 13th in free-throw percentage.

Oprea scored in double figures in all but five contests, tallying eight 20+ point performances and four 30+ point performances, including just the ninth 40-point game in program history in a Senior Day win over Brandeis on Feb. 15.

Two of Oprea's 30-point games also came against Region 3 foes, as the senior scored 37 points in the Chuck Resler Tournament Championship game against Utica on Nov. 15 en route to Tournament MVP honors, and then poured on 30 points the following week against Nazareth to earn Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout MVP accolades.

Oprea graduates ranked ninth in program history in career free-throw percentage (.820), while his 175 three-point field goals attempted in 2025-26 rank seventh in single-season program history. For his career, Oprea averaged 11.3 points per game, totaling 879 points, 304 rebounds, 79 assists and 44 steals.

This is the 25th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team, and this year's All-America team will be the 29th annual All-America selections. Players are nominated by their respective Sports Information Directors (SID) and voted on by two to three SIDs from each conference.
