University of Rochester men's soccer senior Milos Bisenic and women's soccer senior Eileen Harvey were named to the University Athletic Association's (UAA) 17th-annual Presidents Council Scholar-Athlete Team, as announced by the UAA on Tuesday.
 
Created in 2009 by the UAA Presidents Council, originally recommended by the UAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and supported by the Athletic Administrators and the Delegates Committee, the UAA Presidents Council Scholar-Athlete Team recognizes a student athlete that receives First-Team All-Association honors while also carrying a 3.70 or greater cumulative GPA during their playing season.
 
Student-athletes must also have completed one full year at their institution to qualify.
 
This year, there were 103 student-athletes named to the list, with 11 of them having been named the most outstanding performer or most valuable player in their sport.
 
Bisenic had another outstanding year following his breakout sophomore campaign, earning First-Team All-UAA and Third-Team All-Region III honors. The junior appeared in 18 games, and made 17 starts, and led the Yellowjackets with seven goals and three assists for a total of 17 points, taking 43 shots, 18 of which were on goal. He scored three game-winning goals, the fourth-most in the UAA and the 87th-most in NCAA Division III.
 
Off the field, Bisenic was also recognized as a Second-Team All-Region III Scholar-Athlete by the United Soccer Coaches. In addition, the junior was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team and was a UAA All-Academic honoree.
 
Harvey put together a phenomenal junior season, earning Fourth Team All-America honors along with First Team All-UAA and First-Team All-Region III selections. The junior started all 17 games she appeared in and played all 90 minutes in 15-of-17 contests, helping Rochester's defense post 10 shutouts and hold their opponents to 0.88 goals per game. On the offensive side of the ball, Harvey added one goal on three shots, scoring the opening goal in Rochester's 3-2 win over St. John Fisher on Sept.16.
 
Harvey was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches as a Second-Team Scholar All-American and a First-Team All-Region III Scholar-Athlete. She was also awarded a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, along with UAA All-Academic honors.
