At UR 2016: Finished off remarkable career with another banner season...Named 1st Team All-Region by ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com, also grabbing 1st Team All-ECAC and 1st Team All-Liberty League honors...2nd Team All-UAA...Ended with .386 average (51-132) with 13 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, 26 RBI and 28 runs scored...Slugged .545 and had 13 walks and 9 HBP for a .468 on-base percentage...Had 18 multi-hit games...Was first on UR in on-base pct., doubles and HBP...Ranked 1st in the Liberty League in HBP, 4th in average and on-base pct., 5th in doubles, 6th in hits and 7th in slugging...Had career high five RBI against St. Lawrence on Apr. 1, going 3-5 with a double and home run...Finished career with .338 average (171-506) with 96 RBI and 86 runs scored...Also, ranks 1st all-time at UR in runners caught stealing (53)...Named Liberty League and UAA Performer of the Week on Apr. 4 following weekend which he had four straight multi-hit games, including five extra base hits.
At UR 2015: Continued strong career at Rochester as a junior, hitting .319 (46-144) in 41 games (40 starts)...Added 6 doubles, 6 triples, 7 home runs, 35 RBI and 29 runs...Was selected 1st Team All-NY Region by D3baseball.com, 3rd Team All-Region by ABCA/Rawlings and was named to the Upstate NY DIII ECAC All-Star team...Was a unanimous 1st Team All-Liberty League choice, also earning 2nd Team All-UAA honors...Rochester's lone UAA All-Tournament team selection in 2015...Led Rochester in slugging (.590), triples, total bases (85) and sac flies, also finishing with 15 walks, 9 HBP and a .407 on base percentage...Was again one of the top catchers in the country, throwing out 18 runners from behind the plate, matching his UR single season record from 2013 and leading the Liberty League...Also, set UR record for percent of succesful steals against, allowing only 43.8% of runners to steal...Ranked 14th in NCAA Division III in total triples, finishing 2nd in the Liberty League...Also, ranked 2nd in the conference in home runs and total bases, 3rd in sac flies, 5th in HBP and slugging and 8th in RBI.
At UR 2014: Made 30 starts for UR as a sophomore and ended with .346 average (37-107) with 17 runs, 5 doubles, 1 triple and 18 RBI...Had .411 slugging percentage and .407 on-base percentage...Was again one of the top catchers in the Liberty League and UAA, throwing out 10 runners attempting to steal, ranking in the top-5 in both conferences...Named 2nd Team All-Region by D3baseball.com and was 1st team selection in the Liberty League.
At UR 2013: Was one of the top performers for UR as a freshman, hitting .301 in 33 games (31 starts)...Named 1st Team by both UAA and Liberty League...Was 37-123 at the plate with 6 doubles, 2 triples, team high 17 RBI and 12 runs scored...Was 2-2 on stolen base attempts and led the Liberty League in catching potential base stealers (18)...Runners only successful on 58% of stolen base attempts...Hit .386 (17-44) with runners in scoring position, 2nd on UR while also finishing 3rd in average and hits...Ended season hitting safely in 13 of last 14 games.
HS: Attended Tampa Jesuit where he played four years of baseball for the Tigers...Played catcher and 3rd base...Named team captain as a senior...Top offensive player award his senior year when he earned All-County, All-Suncoast and All-State honors...Career .430 batting average...Helped Tigers to three straight state tournament appearances...Three-time regional and district champions...Named Louisville Slugger preseason HS All-American in 2011.
