At UR 2014-15: Had another great season in his senior year...Was on four winning relays at the Liberty League Championships, helping UR set new league records in three of those events...Also, earned two runner-up finishes and a 3rd place result in individual events, helping Rochester capture the conference title...1st on 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay (league record 3:10.57), 200 medley relay (league record 1:35.67) and 400 medley relay (league record 3:29.67)...At the UAA Championships, earned six top-10 finishes, including a 4th place in teh 100 backstroke in a season best time of :51.04...Also, placed 10th in 200 back, earning NCAA 'B' cuts in both the 100 and 200 backstrokes...Was on 4th place and school record setting 200 freestyle relay team which posted a time of 1:23.36...Also, was on 5th place 800 free relay and was 7th in both the 400 freestyle and medley relays...Ranked 2nd on Rochester in individual scoring, recording 299.25 points (including relays) during 2014-15 season...Named Liberty League Performer of the Week on Feb. 17...Academically, selected as a UR Garnish Scholar and was honored on UAA and Liberty League All-Academic teams.
At UR 2013-14: Continued to improve during junior year, earning seven top-16 finishes at both the UAA and Liberty League Championships, the only Yellowjacket to accomplish that feat in 2013-14...Earned two NCAA B Cuts en route to 4th place finishes in the 100 back and 200 back at the UAA Championships...Set four school records at UAAs, including 100 back (:51.06), 200 back (1:50.29) and on the 400 free relay (3:05.86) and 800 free relay (6:53.26)...Ended season ranked 33rd in NCAA Division III in 200 backstroke, the only UR male individual in the top-50...Also, earned top finishes at Liberty League Championships, capturing titles on 200 medley and 400 free relays...2nd place in 400 medley relay along with 100 and 200 backstrokes...Named Liberty League Swimmer of the Week twice...Honored by Liberty League and UAA as All-Academic team member.
At UR 2012-13: The sophomore had another great year in the pool for UR...Broke school record in 200 backstroke at UAA Championships, finishing 3rd in a time of 1:52.13, an NCAA B cut, earning All-UAA honors...Also, finished on 5th place 400 medley relay that earned a school record of 3:25.12 in the event, another NCAA provisional time...Was 6th in both 400 and 800 freestyle relay at UAA's...Finished with two Liberty League titles, in the 200 back and 200 medley relay...Also was top 5 in 100 back, 200 free and 400 free relay at Liberty League Championships...Named to both UAA and Liberty League All-Academic teams.
At UR 2011-12: Helped 'Jackets break Liberty League records in the 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay...Was the Liberty League champion in the 200 backstroke and 400 freestyle relay...Also placed in the top 8 at Liberty Leagues in the 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, and 100 backstroke...Was a UAA top 8 finisher in the 400 medley relay, 800 freestyle relay, 200 backstroke, and 400 freestyle relay...Was one of only two UR males to place in the top 8 in an individual event at UAAs...Currently a part of the school records 400 medley and 800 free relays...Also has All-time top 10 times in the 500 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, and 400 freestyle relay.
HS: Upper St. Clair HS grad...Swam for four years for the Panthers...Named team captain as a senior...3-time HS All-American as a part of relays...Holds the school record in the 500 freestyle (4:42.23)...Helped team to Sectional and WPIAL championships in 2011...Member of the National Honor Society.
