Biography

At UR 2015-16: As a senior, finished in the top-24 in four events at the Liberty League Championships, including a 7th place result in the 100 butterfly...Also, ended 11th in the 200 fly and 500 freestyle and 24th in the 200 freestyle...Was 22nd in the 100 butterfly after posting a time of 53.14 which wound up being the 3rd fastest time by a UR swimming in that event this season...Academically was honored by the UAA and Liberty League as a member of the All-Academic team.

At UR 2014-15: Scored in three events for the Yellowjackets at the Liberty League Championships...Was 6th in the 1650 freestyle (18:06.38), 9th in the 500 freestyle (5:04.00) and 22nd in the 200 free (1:54.01), recording season best times in all three events...Honored on Liberty League and UAA All-Academic teams.

At UR 2013-14: Placed 7th in the 1650 freestyle as a sophomore at the Liberty League Championships, ranking as the top UR finisher in that event...Swam personal best time of 17:33.16 in the 1650 free at the UAA Championships in February...Named to UAA and Liberty League's All-Academic team.

At UR 2012-13: Two top-16 finishes at the Liberty League Championships as a freshman...Best finish came in the 500 freestyle where he swam in a time of 4:56.06, placing in 6th.

HS: Attended Hawken School where he was a four year letterwinner in swimming for the Hawks...3-time DII State qualifier...Elected captain senior year...Finished the season with the 6th fastest time in the 500 freestyle for men in Division II...Swam on the 400 freestyle relay which set a new Chagrin Valley Conference record as well as placing 5th in the state...Captained the team to the Chagrin Valley Conference Championship title as well as a 5th place team finish in the state championship: the Hawken men's team highest finish at the state meet in over a decade...Completed high school career making the CVC first team and receiving the Hawken Old Board Award, the award given to the outstanding senior in a sport.
