Biography

At UR 2014-15: Started out senior season right, winning the B flight singles competition at the Mary Hosking Invitational at William Smith...Translated that into a UAA Athlete of the Week honor, the only weekly award earned by the UR women this season...Ended year with a 9-18 singles mark and 7-20 record in doubles...Was a three time double winner this season, coming against William Smith (3/25), RPI (4/12) and RIT (4/17)...Earned Garnish Scholar Athlete Award from Rochester in the fall while also being named to the UAA's All-Academic team following the season...Elected Phi Beta Kappa and earned fourth straight All-Academic award by the ITA.

At UR 2013-14: The junior was a key player for UR, manning the #3 position in singles and splitting time between #1 and #2 in doubles...Finished with a 7-9 record in singles, 6-10 mark in doubles...Earned match clinching point in wins over NYU (4/5) and RIT (4/16)...Six doubles wins in dual matches was tied for team high...Named UAA All-Academic and honored as ITA Scholar Athlete.

At UR 2012-13: Played solid for UR during sophomore campaign, playing as high as #1 singles and #1 doubles...Earned a record of 9-18 in singles play, 15-12 in doubles...Was a double winner seven times on the year...Reached the quarterfinals of the ITA Northeast Regionals in doubles with Frances Tseng...Earned match clinching point in a 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 win against Cal Lutheran on Mar. 15...Also won match sealing point against William Smith on Mar. 24, sending the Herons to their first loss on the year...Was one of five Yellowjackets to earn All-Academic honors by the UAA...Was honored as ITA Scholar Athlete following the season.

At UR 2011-12: Earned first collegiate win at the Mary Hosking Invitational Sept. 10, an 8-2 victory in the C singles bracket...Finished fall season with three wins in doubles teamed with Frances Tseng and Jamie Bow...Played in every match during the spring season in both singles and doubles...Achieved a 9-5 singles record and 4-10 mark in doubles...Posted two wins during the UAA Tournament, beating Case 6-2, 6-2 and Brandeis 6-2, 6-4...Played primarily at #6 singles...Nine singles victories was second most on the team during the spring...Named to ITA All-Academic team.

HS: Attended Loveland HS (OH), where she was a three year member of the tennis team...While playing for the Tigers, was named co-captain senior year, earned MVP honors and was a two-time 1st team All-Conference member...Earned a berth in the district championships her senior year...High honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society.
