At UR 2018: Named team captain for the second straight season...Played in all 10 games, starting nine at tight end for UR...Caught total of 16 passes for 178 yards and one touchdown...Had career-high 62 yards, including 34-yard reception against Case Western Reserve on Sept. 1...Earned Honorable Mention All-UAA honors following the season...Fifth on the team in catches and receiving yards...Earned Google Cloud 1st Team Academic All-District accolades from CoSIDA...Was named Liberty League and UAA All-Academic.

At UR 2017: The junior was limited to just three games due to injury...Recorded eight receptions for 91 yards and one TD...Had season-best five catches for 50 yards and a score at Alfred on Sept. 23...Named 2017 team captain...Honored for academic work by being selected to Liberty League All-Academic team.

At UR 2016: Started all nine games at tight end for the Yellowjackets...Caught six passes for 135 yards (22.5 avg) on the season...Had season long catch of 47 yards against St. Lawrence, the second longest pass play of the season...Named to Liberty League All-Academic team.

At UR 2015: Freshman appeared in all nine games, making eight starts for the Yellowjackets...Was top tight end receiving threat with nine catches for 94 yards (10.4 avg) and one touchdown...Had a long catch of 22 yards...Scored first college TD against Merchant Marine on Oct. 10, one of a season high three catches on the day.

HS: Attended Brighton HS where he lettered in both football and baseball for the Barons...Named team captain of both squads as a senior...Baseball team MVP in 2015...Earned 1st Team All-County accolades on both the gridiron and diamond as a senior...Led the Barons in receptions and receiving yards in 2014 while helping Brighton earn its first sectional playoff berth since 2006...Hit .521 in his career in baseball while setting a school record with 37 singles and a .561 batting average in his senior season...Earned Monroe County Scholar Athlete awards in each of his varsity seasons.

Personal: Mother, Sherry, attended UR as an undergraduate and ran cross country for the Yellowjackets...Aunt, Janelle Gutman, also attended UR and was a member of the UR swimming program...Father, David, attended medical school at Rochester.
