HS: Attended Sherwood HS where he earned three letters for the Bowmen's baseball team, playing third base...Was a 2nd Team All-Three Rivers League infielder and Honorable Mention All-TRL pitcher in both junior and senior seasons...Participated in club baseball with the Portland Baseball Club.
