At UR 2020-21: The sophomore swam in both of Rochester's meets this season...Finished with time of 2:16.69 in the 200 IM at the UR Invitational on Mar. 25...Appeared in three events in UR's dual meet win against Nazareth on Feb. 27.

At UR 2019-20: Appeared in seven meets during rookie season...Finished with season-best times in 200 IM (2:01.23), 400 IM (4:21.86), 100 back (55.76) and 200 back (1:59.68)...Ended 23rd in the 400 IM at the UAA Championships.

HS: Lettered in swimming and diving at Syuyvesant HS...Earned Outstanding Sophomore and Outstanding Senior team awards during career...Top-10 in NYC Public HS in 100 backstroke and 200 IM...Qualified for the NY state meet in 200 IM, 100 backstroke, 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay...Team finished #1 in the NYC Public School rankings for four straight seasons...Member of the Japanese National Honor Society and Earned Outstanding Performance in Mathematics Award.
