At UR 2024-25: Closed out senior year by appeared in five matches (four in top-9) for Rochester...Went 1-4 overall, earning a match win against Hobart on Jan. 22, winning by a 3-0 score...Honored for his academic prowess by being named Liberty League All-Academic...Elected Phi Beta Kappa from the University.

At UR 2023-24: Limited to just five match appearances during his junior season, playing at number four or number five on the UR ladder...Was 1-4 overall, posting his lone victory in the Liberty League semifinals against Denison, winning by a 3-0 score...Honored for academic exploits by being selected as a CSA Scholar Athlete and member of the Liberty League All-Academic Team.

At UR 2022-23: Appeared in all but one dual match for Rochester, finishing with a 3-15 record as a sophomore...Played as high as #6 on the season, holding now #9 as his primary slot...Went 2-1 at the Liberty League Championships, earning wins over Vassar and Denison during the weekend, helping Rochester earn its fourth straight conference title...3-0 sweep over #20 Colby, playing the #8 position...Earned Liberty League All-Academic praise.

At UR 2021-22: First-year player appeared in 15 matches...Finished 4-11 overall, primarily at #8 in UR's lineup...Named Liberty League Tournament MVP after finishing 3-0 and helping Rochester claim the team title...Match clinching win in a 5-set match against #15 St. Lawrence on Feb. 5...Three 3-0 sweeps during the season...Liberty League Performer of the Week on Feb. 7.

HS: Attended Liceo Francés de San Salvador...Part of the squash team...Also, competed with the El Salvador Junior National squash team...Played squash during the South American and Central American Games.

Personal: Brother, Rodrigo Porras '19, attended Rochester and was a member of the squash program and served as team captain his senior season.
