At UR 2024-25: Record-breaking season saw the junior smash six different program records, including four twice...Ranked in NCAA Division III in seven events, finishing 35th in the 200 backstroke, 64th in the 100 backstroke, 64th in the 100 butterfly, 93rd in the 400 freestyle relay, 49th in the 800 freestyle relay, 70th in the 200 medley relay and 64th in the 400 medley relay...Swam in all nine of the Yellowjackets' meets, competing in seven events at UAAs...Notched an NCAA B-Cut time in the 200 backstroke at the UAA Championships, earning a spot in the A-final and placing sixth, UR's highest individual finish at UAAs since 2019-20...Set new program records in all three individual events, and three relays at UAAs, placing 13th in the 100 butterfly (49.03) and 17th in the 100 backstroke (49.82) individually...Earned four seventh-place results on UR's relays, setting program records in the 200 medley relay (1:32.28), 400 medley relay (3:23.32) and 800 freestyle relay (6:48.58), while also competing in the 400 freestyle relay...Placed nine marks on UR's top-10 times list, six records and the fourth-fastest 200 freestyle, fifth-best 200 butterfly and seventh-fastest 100 freestyle...Led the Yellowjackets in scoring both with and without relays included, tallying 15 first-place results and 20 total top-three finishes...Led Rochester in six different events this season, holding UR's top time this year in the 200 freestyle, 50, 100 and 200 backstroke and 100 and 200 butterfly, as well as the second-fastest 100 freestyle...Notched six top-three results at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational in December, winning both the 100 and 200 backstroke, while helping UR to second-place finishes in the 200 and 400 medley relays, and third-place results in the 400 and 800 freestyle relays...First broke the 100 and 200 backstroke, as well as the 200 and 400 medley relay records at Ithaca, before breaking them again at UAAs...Swept his individual events at four different meets, and finished outside the top five just once prior to UAAs...Recognized on the UAA All-Academic Team for efforts in the classroom.
At UR 2023-24: Had another outstanding season with the Yellowjackets breaking four school records on four straight days at the UAA Championships in February...Led off 800 freestyle relay squad that set new UR mark of 6:52.41 and later in the meet broke the 100 backstroke (:50.46), 200 backstroke (1:50.13) and 100 butterfly (:49.73) school records...Swam on four 7th place relays at the conference meet and reached the finals in the three individual events, scoring 11th place in the 200 backstroke, 14th in the 100 backstroke and 17th in the 100 butterfly...Finished as Rochester's overall top point scorer with 327.00 on the season including relays, over 100 points clear of UR's next closest scorer...Led the team with top times in 10 events (including six individual events)...NCAA top-100 rankings across three individual and four relay events, with UR's 800 free relay (53rd) being highest...Also, was 58th in the 200 backstroke, 72nd on the 400 medley relay and 74th in the 200 medley relay within Division III...Set Speegle-Wilbraham pool record in the 200 backstroke during UR's win over Cortland in late October, swimming 1:52.42...Did not finish lower than 5th in seven swims at the Ithaca Bomber Invitational in December, securing a win in the 200 backstroke and runner-up finishes in the 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 800 freestyle relay...Named UAA Athlete of the Week on Nov. 14 after posting six wins over a two-meet span in which Rochester picked up three team wins...Scored 16 wins and five other second place finishes during 2023-24...Named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators and was an All-Academic selection within the UAA.
At UR 2022-23: First-year was UR's top swimmer, with a team-high 295.0 points and 13 event-wins, including relays...Also added two second-place finishes and one third-place result, competing in eight meets...Tied or set four different program records, three as an individual and one as a member of UR's 400 freestyle relay...Tied the 100 backstroke record (50.51, a Top-100 time in NCAA Division III) with an 18th-place finish at UAAs, before breaking the 200 backstroke record with an 11th-place finish, clocking in at 1:50.25, a Top-70 time in NCAA DIII...Also broke the 100 butterfly record at UAAs with a 22nd-place time of 50.20 after finishing 17th in the preliminaries...Swam in four 'A' relays for UR at the conference championships, all four of which scored 7th-place finishes...Helped break the 400 medley relay program record with a 3:24.78 time at UAAs...Also swam on the 400 and 800 freestyle relays at UAAs which swam times the ranked 57th and 59th in NCAA DIII, respectively...Scored an event win in the 200 backstroke at the Ithaca Bomber Invite, finishing first with a time of 1:52.24...Added three more individual Top-10 finishes, swimming to a 3rd-place result and season-best time of 1:55.58 in the 200 butterfly, a 5th-place finish and new personal-best time of 4:45.23 in the 500 freestyle and a 7th-place result in the 100 butterfly...In four relays, earned three second-place and one third-place result...400 medley relay time of 3:26.13 at Ithaca ranked 72nd in DIII...Placed 11 times on UR's Top-10 times list, four program records and three more in the top four...Swam the fastest time on the team in five different events, adding three more times among the top three.
HS: Played varsity basketball for the Horsemen of Sleepy Hollow HS...Also, swam club with Rivertown Aquatics Swim Team...Named swim team captain for two seasons.
