Biography

At UR 2014: Enjoyed his best season to date as a senior...Played in 33 games (31 starts) in the infield, finishing with a .359 average (33-92) with 17 runs, 16 RBI and 2 stolen bases...Added 10 walks and nine HBP while only striking out twice...On-base percentage of .468 was tops on UR and added 10 sacrifice hits, ending his career as UR's career leader in that category with 29...Ranked 21st in NCAA Division III in sac bunts, 1st in both the Liberty League and UAA...Was the 6th toughest batter to strike out in NCAA Division III...Selected to Liberty League All-Tournament Team after going 6-12 with 5 RBI in four games...Earned 2nd straight CoSIDA 1st Team Academic All-District selection in addition to being named to Liberty League and UAA All-Academic teams...Honored by the UR Athletic Department with the John Vitone Sportsmanship Award.

At UR 2013: Started 29 games for Rochester as a junior...Hit .207 (17-82) with 5 RBI and 5 runs...Also, walked seven times and was hit by nine pitches for a .337 on base percentage...Played solid defense in the UR infield, committing only two errors in 135 chances while also being a part of 17 double plays...Provided the game winning RBI in season opener against Emory on Mar. 10...Ranked 4th in Liberty League in HBP...Academically, named 1st Team Academic All-District by CoSIDA in addition to being honored by UAA and Liberty League as All-Academic team member...Organized "Lace up 4 Cancer" initiative within the Liberty League where all conference schools wore gold shoelaces on May 4-5 to help raise money for pediatric cancer research.

At UR 2012: The sophmore saw action in 21 game for UR, starting 14 in the middle infield...Hit .171 (7-41) on the season with 7 RBI, 3 runs, 3 walks and 4 hit by pitches...Ranked second on the team in sacrifice hits (7) and sacrifice flies (3)...Was a part of seven double plays in the field.

At UR 2011: As a freshman, played in 31 games while starting in 28...Recorded 24 hits and 14 runs, along with two doubles.

HS: Attended Cherry Hill HS East where he played baseball and ran cross-country for the Cougars...Was captian of the baseball squad his senior season...Won the Dan Bubser Award for character as a member of the baseball team...In 2009, was a member of the USA National Maccabiah team that won gold at World Maccabiah games in Israel...Also in '09, broke the Cherry Hill school record for double plays turned in a career...Member of the Cum Laude Society.
