Gerstner is currently a senior studying data science at Rochester. On campus he has been working in the Human Computer Interaction Lab studying how facial expressions relate to deception. He is also the coach of the Men’s Club Volleyball team. Gerstner has done previous work in baseball regarding the impact that robotic umpires could have on the game.
