Allison Beardsley

Beardsley begins her first season as an assistant coach at the University of Rochester after one season as a graduate assistant coach with the Stevenson University program in 2012.

Beardsley is a 2012 graduate of the University of Rochester with a bachelor of science degree in health policy. She played four seasons for the Yellowjackets, appearing in 75 games and totaling 112 points with 40 goals and 32 assists.

She holds the school record for career assists with 32, as well as the single season record for assists with 17 as a senior. She ranked 3rd in school history in points and goals.

As a senior, Beardsley was named to the NFHCA All-American Second Team. She was also selected to the NFHCA All-North Atlantic Region First Team. This was the second time Beardsley was a member of the All-Region team following her second team selection as a junior. In 2011, Beardsley was also selected to the Liberty League First Team following her second team selection in 2010 where she was the first Rochester field hockey player to earn these honors in four years.

Off the field, Beardsley was a four year member of the NFHCA Academic All-Star team. Beardsley was a three-time Liberty League Academic Team selection. She was also a Spike Garnish Scholar and named to the NFHCA Academic Squad as a junior.

Beardsley was honored with the 2012 Sylvia Fabricant Sportsmanship Award. She was a VSAAC member and a volunteer at Strong Memorial Hospital.
