Deon Mash joins the Rochester football coaching staff for the fall 2021 season.
Mash comes to UR after working previously at Long Island University-Post as assistant football coach in the spring of 2021, where he worked with wide receivers.
Mash attended Long Island University-Post and was an All-Conference wide receiver for the Pioneers in 2018. For his career, he hauled in 80 receptions and had 992 yards with 10 receiving touchdowns. He also earned NE10 All-Academic honors during his senior season.
The Pioneers were three-time conference champions during Mash’s time on the squad, competing in the NCAA Division II Championships during the 2016 and 2018 seasons.
Mash graduated from LIU-Post with a bachelors degree in Business Administration in 2018, earning his MBA concentrating in Finance from LIU-Post in 2019.
