Henshaw joined the Rochester gridiron staff in 2019 and primarily focuses on coaching UR's defensive linemen and serves as Recruiting Coordinator.
Over his six years with the program, Henshaw has helped coach six All-Liberty League and three All-Region selections, including back-to-back First Team All-Liberty League and D3football.com All-Region selection Bradley Beckwith, as well as Nicholas Petruziello, a 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-American.
In 2021, Henshaw was a Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellow with the NFL's Chicago Bears.
He came to the River Campus after working as defensive line coach and JV head coach at Widener University for the last six seasons. Additionally, served as On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator. While at Widener, he helped coach the Pride to a 2014 Middle Atlantic Conference championship and spot in the NCAA Division III Tournament National Quarterfinals. Henshaw also coached 20 All-Conference, 11 All-Region and 5 All-American defensive linemen at Widener, including 2015 D3Football.com East Region Defensive Player of the Year Brandon Jones and 2017 Manheim Touchdown Club's Gene Carpenter Award winner Casey Kerschner.
Henshaw was a four year member of the Kutztown University football program where he earned All-American and All-PSAC conference honors as a defensive lineman. He was named team captain for the Golden Bears as a senior in 2011 and was selected as Most Improved during his freshman campaign. While at Kutztown, the Golden Bears won the 2011 PSAC championship and qualified for the NCAA Division II Playoffs in 2010 and 2011.
He earned his Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from Kutztown University in December of 2011.
