Williams joined Rochester’s gridiron staff in 2018 after spending the last three years with Endicott College.
In his first season with UR, Williams helped coach All-UAA and All-Liberty League player Tim Mascari along the defensive line.
Prior to coming to Rochester, he coached at Endicott, serving as the Gulls defensive backs coach and junior varsity head coach and defensive coordinator. He also was pass game coordinator and wide receivers and tight ends coach during his time in Beverly, MA.
Williams also served as a graduate assistant coach at Utica College from 2011 through 2015, coaching with the Pioneers and holding a variety of roles, including wide receivers coach, kick returners coach, tight ends coach and junior varsity head coach.
He attended college at St. John Fisher College and was an active member of the Cardinal football team, both as a player and coach. SJFC enjoyed some of the programs best success during Williams’ time, including reaching the NCAA Division III semifinals in 2006 and NCAA quarterfinals in 2007. With the Cardinals, Williams was a wide receivers coach, and was JV offensive coordinator.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in History, minoring in Communications from St. John Fisher in 2010. At Utica, Williams earned a master’s degree in Adolescent Education in 2015.
