At UR 2013: Named 1st Team All-Liberty League for the 3rd straight season, closing out his career with four total conference honors...Was first in the conference in tackles per game (10.2) while topping UR in total stops with 92 (70 solo)...Ends career 7th on all-time tackle list with 308...Added 11 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 5 break-ups, 1 QB hurry, forcing 1 fumble and recovering another...Also, made two receptions on offense scoring a TD on senior day vs Hobart...Career high 17 tackles (14 solo) vs Springfield on Sep. 28 to go along with forced fumble, earning Liberty League Defensive Player of the Week honors...Team captain in 2013...Also, awarded a spot on Liberty League's All-Academic team following the season.

At UR 2012: The junior was one of the best linebackers in the Liberty League once again earning his third straight All-Liberty League honor (2nd straight 1st Team selection)...Finished the year with 61 tackles (36 solo), 5.5 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 1 INT (TD) and 2 pass break ups...Recorded double digit tackles in three games...Ranked tied for 1st on UR in TFL and sacks while finishing second in total tackles...Ranked 3rd in the conference in tackles per game (8.7), T-13th in TFL (5.5) and T-15th in sacks (2.5)...Also, was one of four players to have an INT return for a touchdown...Named All-Academic by the Liberty League following the season.

At UR 2011: Had a sensational sophomore season for the Yellowjackets which saw him lead the team in tackles with 99 (48 solo)...Also added 8 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries...Had seven games of double-digit tackles...Following the season was named to the 1st Team All-Liberty League.

At UR 2010: Oretga's freshman season at the River Campus saw him make a large impact...He led all freshman, and finished second on the team in tackles with 40...Also recorded three tackles for loss, totaling 12 yards...Following the season, was awarded Liberty League Honorable Mention status.

HS: Attended McQuaid Jesuit HS where he earned multiple letters in both football and rugby...Named team captain in both sports his senior year...Earned football Defensive POY and rugby MVP his senior season...Earned 1st Team and 2nd Team All-Conference honors and Rugby All-Star honors while at McQuaid...Helped Knights to football league championship his junior and senior years along with rugby state title in his final season.
