Dan is entering his second season on the UR bench. He joined the Rochester staff in July, 2012 after coaching for the past three seasons at Nazareth College. He was involved in scouting, game preparation, recruiting, and team administration at Nazareth and assisted in organizing and conducting a series of local youth basketball camps. He was the assistant director of compliance at Nazareth from June 2011-July 2012. Before that, he coached at RIT for two years, at Ithaca College (as a graduate assistant) for one season, and at Wilmington University in Delaware for one year. Bozzelli played basketball at SUNY Cortland for two seasons. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and a New York State Initial Certificate for Classroom Teachers in 2005. He earned his master’s degree in physical education from Ithaca in 2008. Bozzelli has extensive camp experience, working camps at Aquinas Institute in Rochester, RIT, Siena College, Dickinson College, Davidson College and the University of Notre Dame.
