Assistant Coach Scott Clyde returned to his alma mater in 2013 to assist the Yellowjacket golf program.
 
A 2003 graduate of Rochester, Clyde played in the NCAA Championship his freshman year with the Yellowjacket golf team. He played under the leadership of Coach Rich Johnson and served as team captain his senior year.

After successfully completing and becoming the highest ranking student of the University’s NROTC program, Coach Clyde graduated from Rochester with a B.A. in Biology and was commissioned as an officer with the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served on active duty as a commissioned officer in the USMC for a decade as an F/A-18 pilot and instructor pilot, rising to the rank of Major.

Coach Clyde was born and raised in Chili and got his start at Chili Country Club. Coach Clyde recently completed his Masters of Business Administration with a focus on management. He now resides in Spencerport with his wife Kate, and daughters Evelyn and Samantha.
