Andrew Crawford joined the Rochester men’s soccer coaching staff in the spring of 2024 and will coach his first season with the Yellowjackets this fall.
Crawford comes to the University after coaching two seasons at the Division I level at Canisius University in Buffalo, NY. While at Canisius, the Golden Griffins he was responsible for recruiting, player development, community service initiatives and team logistics.
Additionally, Crawford has coached at the youth level for three years, being an Assistant Coach at Rochester NY FC in the MLS Next League.
Crawford was a Division I soccer athlete at Rider University, helping the Broncs to three Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) titles and three NCAA Division I Tournament appearances.
While at Rider, Crawford appeared in 62 career games, making 30 starts as a defender. He finished his playing career with over 3,300 minutes played and was a 4-time MAAC All-Academic honoree. Crawford also was a CoSIDA Academic All-District 2 First Team honoree in 2017 and served as President of the Rider Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in 2018.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Rider in 2019 and later received his master’s degree in business administration from Rider in 2021.
