Augusto Lima

Augusto Lima has joined the Rochester soccer coaching staff for the fall 2021 season.
 
Lima joins the Yellowjackets as an assistant coach after serving as a second assistant at Division I Bucknell University for the last two seasons. While with Bucknell, Lima served as Recruiting Coordinator, assisted in the development of team training and managed the Bison team social media accounts.
 
Prior to his stint at Bucknell, Lima was an assistant coach at his alma mater, Susquehanna University for two seasons. During his time in Pennsylvania, Lima also coached at the Miller Center for Sports and Recreation and North Union United Soccer Club.
 
He holds a United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 3 Diploma and has a United States Soccer Federation D License.
 
Lima enjoyed a successful playing career at Susquehanna University, helping the River Hawks to two Landmark Conference championships. He served as team captain and appeared in 27 games in goal during his career. He ranks third in program history in goals against average, and fourth in shutouts and wins.
 
He also played soccer with the Southern California Sports Club and was involved with the U15, U17, and U19 Guarani Futebol Clube teams in his native country of Brazil.
 
Lima graduated from Susquehanna University in 2016 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration.
