John Spuhler returns to the UR men’s soccer team for his second stint on the coaching staff this fall. A former first assistant for the Yellowjackets, Coach ‘Spu’ now serves the University as the Director of Health and Wellness Programming within the Office of Human Resources. An All-Region goalkeeper at SUNY Oswego, Spuhler will take over the responsibility for training the Yellowjacket net-minders.
John resides in Rochester with his wife Maggie and also serves as head coach for the Empire United U16 boys team.
